I am so grateful to you Wes for your beautiful book! I don't even think this morning's coffee will help me be as articulate as I want to be! I keep having a mixture of awe, gratitude, inspiration, inklings of clarity, and more gratitude as I read it. It's a wonderful gift to have all of these concepts, teachings, scientific references, understandings and realities in one, elegant, rainbow-covered place. By the way, often — almost every time — I'm reading, the white pages themselves seem to take on a rainbow tint!
I first started by opening to a page and reading sections, then started from the beginning. The way you've unfolded this information is… WOW. I am so inspired by your intelligence, Wes. To see not only how you express these concepts in words but what I can only imagine must have been very careful attention to how this information unfolds. You give us a wonderful foundation from the beginning that seems to be growing and growing, allowing space to digest the information and then to be able to take on the next bit of info. It is a most beautiful learning structure!
I feel that the passage in your intro ("I no longer accept—and I don't want to be told—…") is accompanied by trumpets and cymbals because it caught my attention like an affirmation for all who read this book.
I am so grateful to have all the science guys (Crookes through Stainton-Moses) in one place. Somehow seeing their names and details of their life's work in print really helped me GET just how important their studies were and are. AND that their research and books have been around for a long time, though we next-to-never hear anyone but you talk about them.
It's wonderful to have all those definitions in one place, too. I haven't gotten through them all but was blown-away by "Evolution". Also had some "ahas" with the different examples of senses.
I'm so excited to read the rest of it, and have it to read over and over. I have a list of people I'd like to give it to. I think it will really help me be able to explain this work in ways that I have not yet been able to.
In much, much love and gratitude!
