Spiritual Healing

Growing up with musical songfests at family gatherings nurtured Kathleen's love for singing, which she has shared with audiences all over the world.  A native Californian from the Bay Area, Kathleen's spiritual background began in the family church where she most enjoyed singing in the choir.  When the children went off to Sunday school however, she often sneaked out to observe nature and contemplate other mysteries.  She always wondered what the minister meant by "life everlasting" and the "Holy Ghost".  After witnessing her first funeral at a very young age, she tried to get an explanation of what happens to a person's spirit after they die.  While everyone tried to explain, the answers were vague and conceptual - no one seemed to know exactly.  As a young girl, she lay in bed many nights pondering the nature of a spirit.   However she soon got involved in the activities of growing up through high school (science was a favorite subject) and college and her spiritual questions temporarily took a "back seat".

Meeting Weston in 1969 revived Kathleen's spiritual journey that, over the years, has taken her to the depths of her fears and to the heights of spiritual fulfillment.  Their first introduction to the world of metaphysics was with a small Spiritualist church in the Pacific Northwest.  She had no knowledge of mediums, psychics, healing, etc. and drew only from what she had seen in the movie "Rosemary's Baby" (about devil worship). She was terrified and remembered all the fearful things the Sunday school teachers said about "delving into the mysteries" and "devils in disguise".

Her fears were replaced by knowledge, however, when she began to study and understand metaphysics from a scientific point of view, discovering that there was a vast world of scientific research corroborating the spiritual phenomena she was witnessing.  Weston's keen interest and tenacious hunger for knowledge in these subjects encouraged her research and understanding and now she has found solid answers to all of her childhood questions.

From Hawaii to the Bahamas to Africa and beyond, sights and sounds influenced Kathleen's singing and inspired her interest in spiritual healing.  This eventually led to the development and success of , her spiritual healing practice that includes holistic massage, bodywork and subtle energy healing.
