SUNG ENATA

Your hand of friendship was extended

As kindness has a place for all

Survival of a fellow traveler

Fades the differences to be resolved

Refused to have you as a neighbor

Subjected to barbaric brawls

Banished to degrading hovels

Demonized in the courtless halls

Exultant were the conquerors’ plunder

Any compassion was detained

Greed demands the wealth of others

Without the wisdom to sustain

Your bodies broken from slavery’s labors

Removed were you from antiqual homes

The earth now weeps the loss of knowledge

In breath and flow in the stream of love

Your hue-colored beauty existent for ages

Harmony with nature born of elders beyond

As friends of earth your communion sustained us

In the Family of Light you’ll forever belong
