THE MASTERS AND THE PATH

by C. W. Leadbeater

CHAPTER III

The Way to the Master:

The Master's Work

The common course of life,

The daily round we plod,

The tasks that seem so wearisome

May all be done for God.

All may of Him partake;

Nothing can be so mean

Which, with this tincture, for His sake,

Will not grow bright and clean.

A servant with this clause

Makes drudgery divine.

Who sweeps a room, as for His laws

Makes that small action fine.
